If you had a time machine, which year would you travel to and why?

It's so hard to decide. But if I really had to choose, iI think I would decide to do between 1930-1933 (can't pick the exact year, sorry). And, yes, we are talking high society, here. And why?
Partly because of the glamour and the fashion. I love watching movies from this period. The gorgeous bias cut dresses, the sultry hairstyles, the exaggerated femininity. It all combines to make this era so seductive.
But also because of the gorgeous architecture of the period, including one of my favourite buildings of all time:
